The Anshar Press was founded by Thomas Yaeger in 2015. It is his personal imprint, and it published the first three (now four) of his ebooks. This web site is a partner to his personal blog, which promotes both Yaeger's books, and publishes articles written around them, and on related subjects.
The scope of the Anshar Press is works concerned with the study of ancient history, ancient literature and poetry, religion, art and iconography, philosophy, and the history of ideas in general. It is particularly interested in studies which examine their subjects within the original context in which they appeared, or which supply discussion of these contexts.
